About

Yongala Dive is a PADI 5 Star dive shop at 36 Braby Street, Alva Beach near Ayr, Queensland. We specialise exclusively in day trips to the S.S. Yongala wreck in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. A beach launch and approximately 30-minute boat ride take certified divers to this exceptional marine-life site. Trips include two dives with experienced guides and a maximum of 12 divers. Equipment hire, Nitrox and the PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) course are available. We do not offer accommodation or other dive courses. Wreck penetration and marine-life feeding are not permitted. Snacks are vegetarian and seafood-free. Check our website for current diver requirements, availability and weather conditions.
