Los Angeles Black Underwater Explorers (LABUE)
A scuba diving club founded in 1992 to expand the knowledge and enjoyment of the sport among African-American divers, while welcoming members of all backgrounds. Supported by more than 100 members, LABUE runs beach dives, boat dives, dive-travel trips, and social and networking activities spanning interests from underwater photography to technical diving. General membership meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at the Natural History Museum in Exposition Park.
