One of the oldest and most respected dive clubs in the United States, tracing its roots to divers who began meeting at a Boston YMCA in the early 1950s. Its members and associates have included legendary figures of underwater exploration such as Jacques Cousteau (who joined in 1955), Sylvia Earle, Bob Ballard, and Stan Waterman. The club's annual Ocean Clinic, run every year since 1954, is regarded as the longest continuously running dive show in the world.
